Dentistry for Children

We love to see children and believe that starting dental care at an early age is the best foundation for future oral health.

At Fang's Dental Clinic, we prioritize healthy oral development in children and recommend bringing them in for their first dental check-up at 6 months after the first tooth erupts or at 1 years old to monitor tooth development. This helps establish good oral habits and prevent any future dental problems. But if you missed this early window, don't worry! It's never too late to start, and we can work with you to develop the right oral hygiene routine for your child's age.

We believe that everyone, from babies to grandparents, should take good care of their oral health, which is why we offer a range of services, such as regular check-ups, cleanings, and treatments. At Fang's Dental Clinic, we're here to help everyone in your family, regardless of their age.

We understand that visiting the dentist can be nerve-wracking, especially for children. That's why we take a warm and compassionate approach to our work, ensuring every visit is comfortable and stress-free. You and your family can maintain healthy teeth and gums without any added worries at Fang's Dental Clinic. Trust us for your child's first checkup or your regular cleaning.

At what age should my child see the dentist for the first time?

We love to see children and believe that starting dental care at an early age is the best foundation for future oral health. We recommend children start coming in 6 months after the first tooth erupts or at 1 years old to monitor tooth development, establish good oral habits, prevent future dental issues, and to get used to coming to a dental office to decrease any possible anxiety with seeing a dentist as the child gets older. It is never too late to start good habits so even if your child is past 1 years old, bring them in.

How can I help my scared child during a dental visit?

If your little one is feeling fearful during their first dental check-up, don't worry. The best way to handle it is to schedule follow-up appointments every six months until they feel at ease in the dental office.

Remember, it's never a good idea to force your child to undergo an examination. Even if all they feel comfortable doing is taking a ride in the dental chair, that's perfectly okay. You can help ensure that they will be more willing to receive treatment if they have a positive early experience.
